Starting from March, excise tax declaration to be submitted in updated form

Starting March 1, 2026, excise tax payers will submit excise tax reports in an updated form.

This is stated in the message of the Tax Service, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

For the first time, the updated form of reporting must be submitted for February 2026 - to the supervisory authority at the place of registration of the payer no later than March 20, 2026.

The relevant changes are provided for in paragraph 3 of the Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated 07.11.2024 No. 567 "On Approval of Amendments to the Excise Tax Return Form and the Procedure for Filling Out and Submitting the Excise Tax Return."

In connection with the amendments:

- Annex 5 to the declaration - "Calculation of the amount of excise tax on lost excise tax stamps purchased for labeling tobacco products and liquids used in electronic cigarettes" - has been deleted;

- the numbering of the annexes has been changed:

- Annex 6 → Annex 5;

- Annex 7 → Annex 6;

- Annex 8 → Annex 7,

- Annex 9 → Annex 8,

- Annex 10 → Annex 9,

- Annex 11 → Annex 10,

- Annex 12 → Annex 11,

- Annex 13 → Annex 12.

Declaration of information on lost excise tax stamps is recommended to be reflected in Annex 9 to the declaration (under the new numbering), using the indicators previously contained in the canceled Annex 5.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the implementation of the eCheck pilot project, a state digital fiscal check service, has begun in Ukraine.
