In January 2026, the amount of satisfaction of claims of creditors of banks liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund amounted to more than UAH 193.0 million.

This is stated in the report of the DGF, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Of these funds, UAH 186.9 million was received by creditors of the 7th stage (legal entities-clients of the bank).

UAH 6.1 million was also allocated to satisfy the claims of the 3rd queue, including to cover the Fund's expenses for the payment of guaranteed compensation to depositors, as defined by the Law of Ukraine "On the Deposit Guarantee System". The rest of the funds were paid to creditors of other queues.

All in all, as of February 1, 2026, the banks in liquidation have satisfied the claims of creditors for UAH 74.9 billion, of which about UAH 18.0 billion was repaid to secured creditors, including UAH 16.7 billion to the National Bank of Ukraine (including through the foreclosure of collateral and property of guarantors).

The claims of creditors of banks liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund are satisfied through the sale and management of the assets of these banks. That is, from loan repayments, from income on securities, from property lease and from other sources.
