Footballer Danylo Kolesnyk has been injured and threatened with murder. It was reported by Barristers, which represents Kolesnyk's interests.
The lawyer said that she had filed a complaint about inflicting bodily harm on the football player, a death threat to him and his family, as well as an appeal against house arrest. The defense lawyers also prepared an urgent appeal to ensure the safety of the football player and his family by the Kyiv police.
"I, Danylo Kolesnyk's lawyer, officially inform you that after my client filed a complaint about bodily harm, as well as after publicly reporting this fact, Danylo Kolesnyk began receiving direct threats to his life and health. These threats contain signs of real danger and are accompanied by actions that may indicate persecution of my client, as well as pose a threat to the safety of his family members," the defense lawyer said.
Now, in addition to the statement about the beating, Kolesnyk has filed a statement about threats to life and health. The lawyer asked the police to take this situation under their personal control; to immediately take security measures against Danylo Kolesnyk and his family members; to instruct the National Police units to respond promptly to these facts and ensure an effective investigation.

On February 19, the court ordered footballer Danylo Kolesnyk to nightly house arrest in the case of beating a territorial recruitment and social support center's officer.
Reminder, on February 18, Kolesnyk published a video, in which a territorial recruitment and social support center's vehicle hit a man and claimed self-defense during the conflict.
