The National Bank will appeal against court decisions to cancel the regulator's decision to impose a fine on Way For Pay LLC for violations in the field of financial monitoring.
This is stated in the message of NBU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The National Bank of Ukraine disagrees with the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court of June 20, 2025 and the decision of the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal of February 11, 2026 to declare unlawful and cancel the regulator's decision to apply a penalty to Way For Pay LLC for violating the requirements of the legislation in the field of preventing and counteracting the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, terrorist financing and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and will appeal them in cassation within the time limit specified by law.
In November 2024, the National Bank applied two enforcement actions to the said institution: a written warning and a fine of UAH 15,353,950.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine for the first time published a list of significant financial companies approved by the decision of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 16-rsh dated January 21, 2026. This list also includes Way For Pay LLC.
