Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Viktor Mykyta reported on participation in a working meeting with the participation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, other government officials and heads of regional military administrations, at which they discussed work on systematically ensuring the country's energy sustainability and preparing for the next heating season.
"Regional military administrations, together with the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Finance, Ukrenergo and other responsible structures, is developing regional energy sustainability plans with clear steps for their implementation. Key elements of the Regional Energy Sustainability Plan: protection of critical infrastructure facilities; development of distributed generation; alternative power sources for critical infrastructure; distributed thermal generation," Mykyta wrote in Telegram following the meeting.
According to him, the next step will be to synchronize regional plans with the state's capabilities to ensure their timely implementation.
