On the night of Saturday, February 21, russian troops launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 120 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 106 drones.
This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of February 21 (from 06:00 pm on February 20), the enemy attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh Oblast – RF, as well as 120 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Hvardiyske – TOT AR Crimea, about 80 of them – Shaheds.
"According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 am, air defenses shot down/suppressed 106 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the report says.
A ballistic missile hit and 13 attack UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments) at 8 locations.
The Air Force warned that the drone attack is still ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 20, the russians launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 128 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 107 drones.
