Today, on February 20, the russian terrorist army attacked an armored vehicle of the White Angels special forces in the Kharkiv Region with a Lancet drone, which was on its way to evacuate. Two police officers were killed - Yuliia Keleberda and Yevhen Kalhan. One more was injured.
It was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The enemy attacked an armored vehicle of the Special Forces in the Kupiansk District, near the village of Serednii Burluk. As a result, two police officers were fatally wounded and died on the spot.
"Yuliia Keleberda and Yevhen Kalhan have been part of the White Angels unit since its inception. They have made numerous trips to the most dangerous settlements, rescued dozens of families, evacuated children, the elderly and people with disabilities. They repeatedly risked their own lives to save others. Unfortunately, this evacuation was the last for them," the statement said.
Yuliia was only 23 years old, she left behind her parents. Yevhen was 39 years old, he left behind his mother, wife and two children - a 16-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 27, four police officers were killed in the Cherkasy Region during a special operation to detain a murder suspect.
