Ukrainian eggs back on trend - exports increase by almost 11% in January

In January 2026, egg exports increased by 10.6% to 187.08 million units worth USD 20.9 million compared to January last year and by 11.6% compared to December 2025.

This is said in a statement by the Union of Poultry Breeders, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The report says that in monetary terms, revenue in January 2026 increased 1.9 times compared to January last year.

It is noted that the main buyers of Ukrainian eggs during the first month of the new year were Spain (28.6%), Poland (11.6%), and the UK (10.2%).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in July 2025, export of eggs increased by 86% to 190.6 million units worth USD 17 million compared to the same period in 2024.
