On the night of February 20, russian troops attacked a fuel and energy company in the Myrhorod District of the Poltava Region. The fire was extinguished by more than 150 rescuers.

It was reported by the SESU, the Poltava Regional Military Administration and the regional prosecutor's office.

The strike was carried out by a Geranium-2 drone, which damaged the company's property and started a fire. No one was injured, but more than 150 rescuers and about 50 units of equipment from the Poltava Regional State Emergency Service were involved in the firefighting operation.

What is known about the strikes on Naftogaz facilities?

The Naftogaz of Ukraine reported that oil and gas infrastructure facilities in the region came under fire.

"This is another targeted attack on our oil and gas infrastructure. Our sincere gratitude goes to the State Emergency Service and Naftogaz crews who are eliminating the consequences of these attacks, working at the limit of their capabilities and under the threat of repeated shelling," said Serhii Koretskyi, the Chairman of the Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the year, russian troops have attacked the Naftogaz Group facilities more than 20 times.

As a reminder, as a result of russian strikes on the energy infrastructure, consumers in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv Regions are disconnected.
