On the night of February 20, an Iskander-M missile and more than 20 attack drones were recorded during a massive shelling. It was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, the enemy used 128 UAVs to attack the northern, southern and eastern regions, including about 80 Shahed drones. Despite the work of mobile firing groups and anti-aircraft units, hits at 14 locations were recorded, as well as the fall of debris in one place.
The military clarified the number of neutralized targets that were shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare systems.
"According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., 107 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones were shot down/suppressed by air defense," the report says.
The command emphasizes that russian troops continue to systematically shell civilian infrastructure, combining ballistic weapons with massive launches of drones of various modifications.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Communications Department of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine declared the report of the French edition Intelligence Online about the alleged creation of a secret F-16 squadron with foreign pilots in Ukraine to protect Kyiv untrue.
