Bad weather and hostilities cut power to hundreds of settlements in 8 regions

As a result of hostilities in the frontline regions and russian strikes on the energy infrastructure, consumers in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv Regions are without electricity supply since this morning. The press service of Ukrenergo has reported by this.

"Where the security situation allows, emergency repair works are already underway. Power engineers are doing everything possible to supply power to all subscribers as soon as possible," the statement said.

Consumption

Electricity consumption is in line with seasonal indicators. This morning, its level was the same as at this time the previous day - on Wednesday

Effects of bad weather

Severe ice, sleet and wind gusts caused full or partial power outages in 458 settlements in six regions: Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava and Kharkiv. Repair crews of the regional power companies are working to bring the damaged power lines back online.
