2,000 Ukrainian children managed to return home - Zelenskyy

To date, Ukraine has managed to return 2,000 children who were under the control of the aggressor country of russia.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, February 17.

Zelenskyy noted that 2,000 children were able to return home as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

According to him, thousands of Ukrainian children still remain hostages in russia.

"Each of these returns was made possible thanks to the daily work of our people, public organizations and international partners. We are grateful to everyone who joined this fight for the future of our children, our country and the entire free world," the head of state emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 13, five Ukrainian children aged 4 to 15 were returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia.
