Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russia has carried out 401 attacks on the infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group, a record number was recorded in 2025, namely: 229 attacks - more than in the previous three years combined.
This is stated in the message of the Naftogaz of Ukraine group, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"2025 was unprecedented in terms of the scale of attacks on our infrastructure - the intensity of shelling was higher than in previous years of the war. Despite this, we provide the country with gas and maintain the stability of the energy system. I thank everyone who works every day to ensure that Ukrainians have gas and heat in their homes despite terrorist attacks," said Serhii Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The report states that October 2025 was the most difficult.
During the month, 25 combined attacks were launched on the Group's infrastructure.
In total, since 2022, more than 1,700 means of destruction have been used on Naftogaz Group facilities, including missiles, drones and artillery, of which 1,399 in 2025.
It is noted that the direct consequence of the attacks was the loss of its own production, and because of this, the company is forced to import additional volumes of gas for a stable heating season.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early February, the aggressor country of russia shelled oil and gas facilities in the Poltava Region for two days in a row, and also massively attacked enterprises in the Sumy Region.
