Australia has allocated EUR 6 million to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Energy has announced this on its Telegram channel in a statement.
Australia's total contribution to the Fund has increased to EUR 24.5 million.
"The funds will be used to finance the priority needs of the energy sector, taking into account current energy security challenges," said Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal.
At the expense of Australia's previous contributions, transformers of various capacities, complete transformer substations, autotransformers, microprocessor-based relay protection terminals and other power equipment have already been purchased to ensure the reliability of trunk and distribution networks, restore and strengthen energy infrastructure, the ministry said.
Recall that in December 2025 Australia completed the transfer of 49 Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
