Russians launched about 1,300 strike drones, over 1,200 guided aerial bombs and 50 missiles over Ukraine in a week - Zelenskyy

In a week, the aggressor country of russia launched about 1,300 strike drones, over 1,200 guided aerial bombs and 50 missiles over Ukraine. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram channel.

"Every day, recovery continues in our cities and communities after russian strikes. Only in this week of February, they launched about 1,300 strike drones, over 1,200 guided aerial bombs and 50 missiles over Ukraine, almost all of them ballistic. Today, the Odesa, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions were under attack by the enemy," he wrote.

According to Zelenskyy, as before, the main target of russian strikes is energy. He emphasized that the russians are deliberately combining strikes in such a way as to destroy Ukrainian generation, substations, and the network. There were also many strikes on residential infrastructure.

The President said that Ukrainian soldiers shoot down a significant part of the missiles, but not all of them, so there can be no pause in protecting life.

"In Munich, we agreed with the leaders of the Berlin format on specific packages of energy and military assistance for Ukraine by February 24. I am grateful to our partners for their willingness to help, and we expect that all supplies will arrive promptly. Ukraine needs air defense every day to deprive russia of the levers of terror. Thank you to everyone who helps," the President added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine neutralized 91 out of 112 enemy UAVs on the night of Saturday, February 14, and 18 of them were hit at 11 locations.
