Since the beginning of the day, 98 combat clashes have taken place on the frontline.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The enemy from the territory of the russian federation fired artillery shells at the areas of Rohizne, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Ryzhivka, Kucherivka, Shpil, Koreniok, Budky, Kysla Dubyna, Kruzhok in the Sumy Region.
Six combat clashes with the enemy took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy fired 92 times at Ukrainian troops' settlements and positions, including three times from multiple rocket launchers.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked ten times in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vovchansky Khutory, Rybalchyne and in the direction of Hrafske, Okhrimivka, Kolodyazne. Three firefights are ongoing.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy is trying to advance in the area of Borivska Andriivka and towards Petropavlivka and Hlushkivka.
In total, three firefights took place on this axis, two of them are ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian troops repelled six russian attacks in the area of Hrekivka and towards Stavky, Droysheve and Lyman. Two attacks are still ongoing.
No hostile offensives were registered on the Sloviansk axis.
On the Kramatorsk axis, russian proxies tried to advance three times towards Ukrainian troops' positions in the vicinity of Novodmytrivka and Predtechyne.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the invaders carried out nine offensives near Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka and towards Illinivka and Kostiantynivka. One attack is still ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, russian occupants have made 45 attempts to push our troops from their positions near Zatyshok, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne and towards the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Nove Shakhove, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Ivanivka. Defense forces are holding back the attack and have already repelled 42 attacks.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the aggressor attacked twice in the vicinity of Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipillia axis, Ukrainian troops repelled six occupants' attacks near Rybne and in the direction of Dobropillia and Zaliznychne. In addition, enemy aircraft struck the settlements of Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Voskresenka, and Samilivka. Three firefights are still ongoing.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Prymorske. The localities of Orikhiv, Veselianka and Yuliivka were attacked with guided missiles.
On the Dnieper axis, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack.
No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other areas so far.
Ukrainian troops are depleting the enemy along the entire frontline and in the rear.
