Russian attacks have damaged all of Ukraine's power plants, but the power system continues to operate thanks to the efforts of power engineers, physical protection of facilities and support from air defense partners.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

Despite large-scale damage to the energy infrastructure, Ukraine continues to produce electricity.

"We are still producing electricity thanks to our people. And we have preserved our system thanks to the physical protection of our facilities and all those who help us with air defense," Zelenskyy said.

He emphasized that one of the most difficult situations is when air defense units are forced to use up all available missiles to repel massive attacks, and replenishment of stocks is delayed, despite intelligence information about possible new attacks in the near future.

In one of the most recent massive attacks, Ukraine used missiles that had arrived only a few days earlier, he said, emphasizing the continued need for additional air defense supplies.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold meetings in Munich, Germany, on Saturday, February 14, with US officials, the NATO Secretary General, the British Prime Minister, and make several public appearances.
