Russian oligarch Said Gutseriev has become a co-owner of Ukrainska Pravda. Expert Volodymyr Bondarenko has written this, Fakty reported.
"Russian oligarch Gutseriev is a co-owner of Ukrpravda. On January 31, Pluralis BV, the official investor of which is VP Capital (London), owned by Belarusian multimillionaire Viktor Mikhailovich Prokopenya (born in 1983 in Minsk), became the owner of 13% in UP MEDIA PLUS and UP MEDIA. Prokopenya's senior partner is Said Gutseriev (1988), the son of Russian billionaire Mikail Gutseriev (BINbank, Rusneft, Eldorado), a friend of Lukashenko," he said.
According to him, Gutseriev is represented in Ukraine by Viktor Polishchuk (Gulliver, Bank
Mykhailivskyi, Alliance Novobud).

The expert recalled that before the war, Prokopenya and Gutseriev unsuccessfully tried to buy the Ukrainian subsidiary of Sberbank through the Belarusian Paritetbank. But with such a partner as Fiala, Gutseriev and Prokopenya will succeed in Ukraine, Bondarenko is sure.

ADDITION. The media division of Viktor Prokopenya's VP Capital (London) company sent an official letter to the editorial office of Ukrainian News. The letter states that the company did not purchase any media assets and that Said Gutseriev has no connection to the company's activities. The confusion arose due to an error by the author of the text, who referred to Viktor Prokopenko's company (website vpcapital.com) instead of the company of the same name owned by the van Puijenbroek family from the Netherlands (website vpcapital.eu), which is listed among Puralis' investors. ‘Thus, VP Capital (vpcapital.com) has no connection with Said or with investments in any media (including Ukrainska Pravda), and is not related to the VP Capital structure (vpcapital.eu) mentioned in the context of Pluralis,’ the official letter states.
As reported earlier, Tomas Fiala's Investment Fund for the Revival of Ukraine is attracting European money to its own project, in which corruption schemes have been revealed.
