An overnight massive attack has struck the capital's power grid once again, leaving 107,000 families temporarily without electricity. The Desnianskyi District was the most affected, with some houses left without power. It was reported by DTEK.
Power engineers responded promptly to the situation and first of all powered critical infrastructure facilities to maintain the city's vital activity.
"Another difficult night for the power sector. Due to the massive attack, some houses in the Desnianskyi District were left without electricity," the power company said. Emergency power outages have been introduced in the area, while temporary restriction schedules are in place for the rest of Kyiv. Specialists continue restoration work to return electricity to Kyiv residents as soon as possible.
