Ukraine shocked by news of school shooting in Canada.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on the social network X, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We are shocked by the news of the shooting at the Tumbler Ridge school in Canada. When children die, no one should remain indifferent. Such tragedies should never happen - anywhere, in any country in the world," he noted.
Zelenskyy expressed hope that all victims will recover quickly, and also expressed sincere condolences on behalf of all Ukrainians to their families and loved ones, all Canadians and Prime Minister Mark Carney.
According to media reports, 10 people were killed in a shooting in the Canadian town of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, among the killed is an alleged attacker, who, according to preliminary data, committed suicide.
Two victims in critical condition were airlifted to hospital, and another 25 people are under medical supervision at a local hospital.
