Russian troops have not made any advances in the Huliaipole Axis recently, while the Defense Forces of Ukraine have made some progress.
This was reported by the commander of the 1st separate assault regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo Dmytro Filatov on Army TV.
According to him, the enemy is currently focused on holding the occupied positions and is not moving forward. At the same time, Ukrainian units are having tactical successes, but the details are not yet disclosed due to the active phase of the operation.
"Moreover, there are certain successes of the Armed Forces, which I unfortunately cannot announce now, because the operation is still underway. But if you follow the (Telegram channels - ed.) of the enemy, the information they are spreading is true," Filatov noted.
Earlier, russian military sources reported an alleged counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions. At the same time, ISW analysts indicated that such reports could be an attempt by the Kremlin to justify its own failures and retreats in the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole Axes.
Recall that the army of the aggressor country of russia advanced in the areas of two settlements in the Slovyansk and Huliaipole Axes.
