Ukraine has added 1 point in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) ranking compiled by the international anti-corruption non-governmental organization Transparency International for 2025, receiving 36 points out of 100, ranking 104th out of 182 countries. This is stated in the report of Transparency International Ukraine, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Argentina and Belize also scored 36 points this year, while Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Gambia, Lesotho and Zambia are one point ahead of Ukraine, while Brazil and Sri Lanka scored one point less.

"Thus, Ukraine repeated its result in the WRI-2023. However, a qualitative breakthrough was prevented by a significant slowdown in European integration reforms and the fulfillment of international obligations, which remain the main drivers of change in the country," the report says

Ukraine's results in Corruption Perceptions Index 2025 were calculated on the basis of 8 surveys covering the period from January 2023 to September 2025 inclusive.

Despite the positive dynamics, Transparency International Ukraine (TI Ukraine) notes that the current result is an "advance" to the authorities from the public and international partners, and not a consequence of a sustainable state policy.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine lost 1 point in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) rating, compiled by the international anti-corruption non-governmental organization Transparency International for 2024, receiving 35 points out of 100, ranking 105th out of 180 countries.

Ukraine received 36 points out of 100 in the Corruption Perceptions Index compiled by the international anti-corruption non-governmental organization TI for 2023, ranking 104th out of 180 countries.

The Corruption Perceptions Index is a composite index that measures the level of perceived corruption in the public sector in different countries. It is based on surveys of experts and entrepreneurs conducted by independent organizations around the world and has been published annually since 1995. Countries are ranked on a scale from 0 to 100 points, where 0 means the highest level of perceived corruption and 100 means the lowest.
