Reuters notes that journalists were unable to contact the company, which does not have a website. The cause of the explosion has not yet been established.

Founded in June 2025, Jiapeng Biotechnology is engaged in research in the fields of animal feed, coal products and building materials, according to its registration data.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, meanwhile, despite the government's massive efforts to stimulate the birth rate, China recorded a fourth consecutive year of falling birth rates. The birth rate in 2025 reached its lowest level since 1949.
