On the night of Saturday, February 7, the aggressor country of russia carried out a massive missile and drone strike on Ukraine, targeting mainly energy facilities located in western Ukraine.
This is evidenced by information from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, many drones were moving towards the western regions and could attack Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv and Zakarpattia, and most importantly - the city of Burshtyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region, where the Burshtyn TPP is located.
After 3 am, russia launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the sea, which headed through the Mykolaiv Region to the Vinnytsia Region and further west.
The Air Force indicated the danger to Ternopil, Starokostiantyniv, Zhydachiv in the Lviv Region and Burshtyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
According to the monitors, the lion's share of the missiles hit Burshtyn.
At about 4 am, the Air Force reported the launch of a high-speed target from the sea. Monitoring channels indicated that these were hypersonic Zircon missiles that attacked Vinnytsia.
Near Vinnytsia, there are energy facilities that are important for the energy supply of the entire region, which russia has been trying to destroy in recent weeks.
At about 5 am, the attack by shaheeds from all regions of Ukraine continued, some of them also attacked Kyiv.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 6, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the territory of the Kherson CHPP throughout the day, at least five hits were recorded.
