President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers the work of the Air Forces in some regions to shoot down the Shaheds unsatisfactory. Zelenskyy said this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
He also said that he had held a daily conference call, with reports on the situation in Kyiv and the region, the Kharkiv and Poltava Regions, Kropyvnytskyi and the region, as well as in the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia Regions, communities bordering russia and near the front.
"I consider the work of the Air Forces in some regions of Ukraine unsatisfactory, and we discussed with the commander of the Air Forces and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine what decisions should be immediately implemented to more effectively shoot down the Shaheds," he said.
Zelenskyy also said that the head of Ukrzaliznytsia reported on the consequences of russian strikes on logistics: such strikes did not stop for a single day, and in January there was a significant increase in russian strikes on the railroad.
He thanked all the railroad workers for promptly restoring and maintaining the railroad's operation.
According to the Air Forces, on the night of February 6 and during this morning, the enemy attacked with 328 attack UAVs, about 200 of them were Shaheds, and launched 2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and 5 Kh-59/69 guided missiles.
According to preliminary data, air defense shot down/suppressed 297 enemy UAVs, as a result of active counteraction of the Defense Forces, enemy missiles did not reach their targets, 22 attack UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, and debris fell at 2 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of February 6, russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia Region, as a result of the shelling, part of the region was left without electricity supply - the power went out to more than 10,000 consumers, and damage to private residential buildings was also recorded.
Also, on the night of Friday, February 6, russian occupants attacked the Myrhorod District of the Poltava Region, firing at an industrial facility, which resulted in fires in several locations.
