The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov reported that today's talks in Abu Dhabi were meaningful and productive, "focused on specific steps."
He announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He said that after the trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi, the negotiation process continued today in the format of working in groups.
"The work was meaningful and productive, focused on specific steps and practical solutions. We are preparing a report to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," he wrote.

The Ukrainian delegation, in addition to Umerov, included the head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada Davyd Arakhamia, the first deputy head of the President's Office Serhii Kyslytsia, the chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov, the representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Vadym Skibitskyi, and the advisor to the President's Office Oleksandr Bevz.
From the American side, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Josh Gruenbaum, Daniel Driscoll, and General Alex Hrynkevich took part in the consultations.
According to Umerov, the russian side was represented at a high military level.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday afternoon, Umerov reported that the next stage of trilateral negotiations with the participation of Ukraine, the United States, and russia had begun in the United Arab Emirates.
After russia's massive strike on Ukraine on the night of February 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the aggressor country does not take diplomacy seriously and expects to destroy Ukraine, so the work of the negotiating team will be adjusted accordingly.
