Warmth is on the verge: weather forecaster Natalka Didenko warned of sharp change in weather

A warmer air mass will begin to enter Ukraine in the coming days, but the frosts have not yet completely receded. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

According to her, the night in Ukraine on February 4 will remain cold: "On February 4, the night in Ukraine will still be cold, -12-19 degrees, in the north and northeast -15-22 degrees." Frost is expected in the afternoon on Wednesday: "In the afternoon on Wednesday, -9-13 degrees are expected, in the Sumy, Kharkiv and Luhansk Regions up to -14 degrees, in the western regions there are already the first signs of warming, in the afternoon -2-6 degrees, in Zakarpattia up to +4 degrees."

The weather forecaster warns of a change in the nature of the weather and precipitation: "The anticyclone will begin to break down, so cloudiness will increase, snow and sleet (in Zakarpattia with rain) will pass in the western part of Ukraine." According to her forecast, precipitation will also reach the central and southern regions: "Precipitation will reach Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr and Odesa Regions tomorrow afternoon. In the rest of Ukraine on Wednesday - without significant precipitation."

Also, on February 4, strong winds are expected in the western regions: "In the western regions, a strong southeast wind with storm gusts is expected tomorrow, in the rest of the territory - moderate, sometimes gusty." Cloudiness and gusty winds are forecast for Kyiv: "In Kyiv on February 4 - increasing cloudiness, strengthening of the southeast wind to 10-12 meters per second, in the evening there is a possibility of light snow." It will be cold in the capital at night: "The next night in the capital is expected to be -17-19 degrees, tomorrow afternoon about -10 degrees."

Natalka Didenko notes that warming will intensify from February 5: "From February 5, the Atlantic and southern currents will begin to press harder, the air temperature in Ukraine will rise, precipitation will increase, and the wind will strengthen." At the same time, she warns of a new wave of cold from February 9: "From February 9, a new wave of cold will visit Ukraine again. The air temperature will decrease, but the scale of the cold will be somewhat smaller." According to preliminary estimates, the cooling will last approximately until February 12, after which forecasters expect warming again.
