Unverified Starlink terminals will be disconnected in Ukraine. This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov in the Telegram channel.

"Ukraine, together with Starlink, has already taken the first steps that have yielded quick results in the fight against russian drones. The next step is to implement a system that will allow only authorized terminals to operate on the territory of Ukraine," the message says.

He noted that in the coming days, the Ministry of Defense will publish instructions for Ukrainian users on registering Starlink for verification.

"The registration process will be simple, fast and convenient for users. Detailed instructions will be published in the near future. We thank Starlink and SpaceX for their cooperation and proactive position in supporting Ukrainians," Fedorov added.

Recall, on January 29, Fedorov reported that the Ministry of Defense, together with SpaceX, is solving the problem of using Starlink on russian UAVs.

Today, Musk wrote on Twitter that steps to block "unauthorized use" of Starlink by the russian military to attack Ukraine "have worked."

"Let us know if more needs to be done," Musk added.
