Over the week, the aggressor country of russia attacked Ukraine with more than 980 strike drones, almost 1,100 guided aerial bombs and two missiles. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram channel.
"Repair work is underway in many regions of Ukraine to restore critical infrastructure. In January alone, russia launched more than 6,000 strike drones, about 5,500 guided aerial bombs and 158 missiles of various types against us," he wrote.
Zelenskyy added that almost all the strikes by the occupiers were directed against the energy sector, railways, our infrastructure - "everything that supports the normality of life."
"Now the strikes continue. Over the past week, russia has used more than 980 strike drones, almost 1,100 guided aerial bombs and two missiles against Ukraine. We are recording russian attempts to destroy logistics, transport links between cities and communities. That is why the need for sky protection has not disappeared. Missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, F-16 and other platforms are needed every day. I thank all partners who understand this and help," Zelenskyy noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 1, the military of the aggressor country of the russian federation attacked Dnipro. Two people were killed as a result of the hit of a russian UAV.
