Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed a USD 100 million russian Nebo-SVU radar in the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) of the Luhansk Region, as well as a number of UAV control centers in the TOT of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions and an ammunition depot.

It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as part of the reduction of enemy air defense capabilities, the 1L119 "Nebo-SVU" radar station was destroyed in the area of the temporarily occupied Lymarivka in the Luhansk Region. The estimated cost of such a station is about USD 100 million," the statement said.

The Defense Forces also hit a number of enemy UAV control points:

  • another one - in the area of Pidstepne (TOT of the Kherson Region).

In addition, according to the General Staff, in order to undermine the offensive potential of the occupiers, an ammunition depot was hit near the temporarily occupied Vasylivka (Zaporizhzhia Region).

"The hits were recorded, the scale of enemy losses is being clarified. The defense forces continue to methodically reduce the offensive potential of the Russian invaders," the General Staff summarized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, the Security Service's military counterintelligence foiled an air strike by the aggressor country of russia against Ukrainian units engaged in maritime drones. As a result of the special operation, a serviceman of the Brigade of the Unmanned Special Forces of the Ukrainian Navy was detained, who turned out to be a russian informant.
