A fire and damage to a residential building were recorded in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv as a result of the fall of drone debris. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.
"As of 7:00 am, the fall of UAV debris in the Holosiivskyi district onto the roof of a two-story non-residential building caused a fire. It has already been eliminated," he noted.
According to the mayor, in the same district, drone debris fell in an open area - onto the roadway. The blast wave damaged the windows and roof of a 17-story residential building.
"There are no victims," Vitali Klitschko emphasized.
As reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, in Telegram, the air alert in Kyiv lasted for almost two hours - from 01:00 am to 02:45 am. According to him, first in the Holosiivskyi district, fragments of a drone fell onto the road.
Later, there was a report of damage to the windows of a residential building due to falling fragments in the Holosiivskyi district. There were also reports of a fire on the roof of a non-residential building, but this information was soon denied.
"The roof of a multi-story building was damaged at this location," Tkachenko specified.
