Russian terrorist troops attacked a passenger train "Barvinkove - Lviv - Chop" with drones, which at the time was carrying 291 passengers. Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, reported this on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, January 27.
According to preliminary information, the occupiers attacked the train with three Shahed drones. A hit was recorded in front of the locomotive and in a passenger car, which caused a fire.
"There were 291 passengers on board. People were evacuated as quickly as possible. At the moment, there are two wounded - they were taken out by the train crew and then handed over to an ambulance. Both were hospitalized in medical institutions," Kuleba said.
According to him, backup buses are being organized for the evacuated passengers, as well as for those who were waiting at the stations for the return flight. All emergency services are working at the scene of the attack: doctors, rescuers, and the Ukrzaliznytsia team.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 27, the russian terrorist army dropped a FAB-250 aircraft bomb on a kindergarten in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region, which housed the "Point of Incibility". The attack killed a local resident who was near the building.
