On the night of January 27, russian troops launched a massive attack on the Mykolaiv Region, focusing the main blow on energy infrastructure. The head of the regional military administration Vitalii Kim has reported this.
It is noted that a civilian was injured during the shelling.
"At night, the enemy attacked the region with Shahed 131/136 UAVs and imitator drones of various types, directing the main attack on the energy infrastructure," Kim said.
In the Olshanska community, the falling debris of the downed drones and direct hits resulted in the destruction of a private house, and two other houses were damaged. A 59-year-old woman was seriously injured in the attack. According to Kim, "the victim's condition is serious, she was hospitalized in Mykolaiv."
All in all, the air defense forces worked intensively at night: ten attack drones and imitators were neutralized in the region. Despite the successful work of air defense, the enemy's terror against the region's energy system led to destruction in the residential sector.
