On the night of Monday, January 26, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Eco oil refinery (Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai, the aggressor country of the russian federation). It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the annual possible processing capacity of the affected enterprise is more than 4 million tons of oil. This plant is a part of the energy rear of the russian federation and is involved in the supply of the aggressor's armed forces.
"UAV strikes on the territory of the plant and explosions in the target area were recorded. According to preliminary information, elements of the primary oil refining unit were damaged. The scale of the damage is being clarified," the General Staff said.
The Defense Forces also hit the logistics warehouses of the invaders' units in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk (Donetsk city) and Zaporizhzhia (Solodkovodne village) Regions.
In addition, in order to weaken the enemy's offensive capabilities, strikes were launched on the UAV control center of a unit in the area of Velyka Novosilka (TOT Donetsk Region) and on the enemy's manpower concentrations in the areas of Yunakivka (TOT Sumy Region) and Kolisnykivka (Kharkiv Region). The number of destroyed and wounded occupants is currently being established.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 26, an attack by unknown drones was recorded in the russian city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban (Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation). Local residents reported a series of explosions and air defense activity, and an oil refinery could have been hit.
