The return of heat supply to the homes of residents of the Kyiv's Troieshchyna district may take another four to five days.
This forecast was made by Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People faction Serhii Nahorniak on the air of Kyiv24 TV channel.
According to him, the resumption of heating is possible if there is no new shelling of critical infrastructure. The key factor is the launch of combined heat and power plant No. 6, as well as the full resumption of CHPP 5 and CHPP 4. If these facilities can be repaired within a week, Kyiv will be able to return to scheduled rather than emergency power outage schedules.
Nahorniak noted that February will remain a difficult month with potentially long outages. At the same time, the situation should gradually stabilize in March-April due to an increase in electricity generation, in particular, due to solar power plants.
As a reminder, more than 800,000 consumers in Kyiv are still without electricity.
