According to the First Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Luhovskyi, russia is not ready for real negotiations on ending the war.
He told reporters about this during an interview published on the official portal of the special service.
According to the intelligence, the kremlin is actually implementing a strategy of delay. As Luhovskyi explained, russia believes that by attacking the frontline and using blackouts, they will be able to break the Ukrainians and achieve their goal.
The official also commented on the kremlin's "red lines" in the negotiations. He said that russia has several of them and they are adjusted from time to time.
For example, a fundamental issue for the russian federation is Ukraine's nonaccession to security alliances and the absence of foreign troops on the territory of Ukraine.
At the same time, Luhovskyi noted that russia could formulate new "red lines" to slow down the negotiation process.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier informed, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (FIS) reported that the aggressor country russia plans to start exploiting the subsoil in the occupied part of the Donetsk Region this year. The occupiers are preparing for a large-scale geological exploration program that will last until 2031.
