On the night of January 24, russian occupation forces launched a combined attack on Kyiv, using attack drones and ballistic missiles. The attack was recorded in three districts, and at least one person was killed and three were wounded in serious condition.
The information was reported by representatives of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), the head of the KCMA Tymur Tkachenko and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"Several groups of enemy drones were moving in the direction of the capital," Tkachenko said.
The authorities urged city residents not to ignore the sirens, to immediately go to shelters and stay there until the air raid warning is canceled.
At 1:30 a.m., the Air Forces reported that russian troops had launched ballistic missiles toward Kyiv.
Later, a series of powerful explosions were heard in the city.
Non-residential construction sites were reportedly hit in the Desnianskyi and Holosiivskyi Districts. In the Solomianskyi District, a 6-story office building was hit. In the Dniprovskyi District, a fuel truck is on fire in a parking lot as a result of falling debris.
In the middle of the night, doctors hospitalized two victims in serious condition in the Holosiivskyi District.
"In the Darnytskyi District, a Russian strike damaged the building of a private medical institution. Windows were damaged, we know about an injured person," Tkachenko said.
According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, as of 3 a.m., one person was reported dead and four wounded.
