In Ukraine, the number of pensioners receiving a pension of more than UAH 10,000 as of January 1, 2026 increased to 15.41%.
This is stated in the message of the Pension Fund on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Thus, according to the Fund, as of January 1, 2026:
- 3.68% of pensioners have a pension of up to UAH 3,000;
- 31.06% - from UAH 3,000 to UAH 4,000;
- 20.2% - from UAH 4,000 to UAH 5,000;
- 29.64% - from UAH 5,000 to UAH 10,000;
- 15.41% - over UAH 10,000.
As of January 1, 2026, there are 10.2 million pensioners in Ukraine, the average pension of which is UAH 6,544.62.
Of these, 2.8 million are working pensioners, the average pension is UAH 7,160.10.
By type of pensions assigned: 72.76% - for age, 14.70% - for disability, 6.92% - in case of loss of breadwinner, 5.07% - for length of service, 0.51% - social pensions, 0.04% - life support of judges.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of October 1, 2025, the number of pensioners receiving a pension of more than UAH 10,000 increased to 15.05%.
In Ukraine, as of January 1, 2025, the number of pensioners receiving a pension of up to UAH 3,000 was 25.95%, and those receiving a pension of more than UAH 10,000 was 12.2%.
