Russian singer Uspenskaya recognized as threat to national security of Ukraine

Russian singer Lyubov Uspenskaya has been recognized as a threat to the national security of Ukraine.

The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Russian singer Lyubov Uspenskaya has been included in the List of persons threatening the national security of Ukraine due to her public support for the armed aggression of the russian federation," the report says.

The reason was that Uspenskaya publicly supported the armed aggression of russia, justified the actions of the aggressor state, and participated in propaganda events in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Uspenskaya is under sanctions by Ukraine in accordance with the Presidential Decree of January 7, 2023.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June 2025, the Ministry of Culture included russian actor, comedian, and TV presenter Azamat Musagaliyev on the list of persons posing a threat to national security.
