President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a trilateral meeting of the delegations of Ukraine, the United States and russia in the United Arab Emirates on January 23-24. Zelenskyy said this in Davos (Switzerland), the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The American team will go to Moscow today. They were waiting for our meeting with President Trump. And now they will leave, and my team will meet with the American team. I think this will be the first trilateral meeting in the Emirates tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. It will be a meeting that will last two days," he said.
Zelenskyy said it would be positive if trilateral talks start at the technical level.
"This is better than not having any dialog," he added.
Zelensky stressed that russians should be ready to compromise, not just Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy reported a good meeting with US President Donald Trump on January 22 in Davos, Switzerland.
