At the same time, the agency emphasized that the damage is significant and repair work will take a long time to return the equipment to a working condition

As a reminder, the Ministry of Energy stated that the situation in the power system of Kyiv and the region remains difficult due to a significant drop in temperature. At the same time, restoration work is underway in the Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia Regions, which were cut off from power as a result of the nighttime russian strike. Emergency blackouts continue to be applied in a number of regions due to overloading of equipment in freezing conditions.
