In Kyiv, utility workers have restored heat supply to more than 1,600 residential buildings.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Klitschko noted, the situation is complicated, because most of these houses are being connected for the second time after critical infrastructure was damaged on January 9.

According to the mayor, 4,000 high-rise buildings out of 5,635 that were without heat after the enemy's attack on the capital last night are currently without heat.

Utilities and energy workers continue to work to restore heat, water, and electricity to Kyiv residents' homes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the situation with heating and water supply remains difficult on the Left Bank of Kyiv, as well as in the Pecherskyi district.

Recall that on the night and morning of January 20, the enemy massively attacked the facilities of the Ukrainian energy system. As a result, consumers in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, Kharkiv, and Sumy Regions are without electricity this morning.

As a result of the russian attack, 5,635 high-rise buildings in Kyiv were left without heating.
