Kyiv Metro to operate with restrictions: trains run at changed intervals

In Kyiv, the metro operating mode is changing due to complications in the power system. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

It is noted that the movement of trains on the red line will start on the section between the Akademmistechko and Arsenalna stations. The movement interval will be 4.5–5 minutes. "The movement of trains on the red line will start between the Akademmistechko - Arsenalna stations. The movement interval is 4:30-5:00 minutes," the message says.

After the air alert is lifted, two trains will run between the Livoberezhna and Arsenalna stations to transport passengers between the left and right banks of the Dnieper. The movement interval will be approximately 20–25 minutes. The trains will pass the Hydropark and Dnipro stations without stopping.

The Kyiv City State Administration also clarified the features of the operation of the green line during the air alert. "Train movement on the green line during the air alert will begin: between the stations Syrets - Vydubychi - with an interval of 7 minutes; between the stations Osokorky - Chervony Khutir - with an interval of 10 minutes".
