The most difficult situation with electricity supply in Ukraine is currently observed in Kyiv and Kyiv Region. The previously published schedules of hourly power outages are not in effect there

It was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

They noted that network restrictions are being applied in Kyiv and the region, and the resumption of the projected outage schedules will take place after the power system stabilizes.

The ministry emphasized that the army of the aggressor country russia attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine at night, which left consumers in the Odesa and Kyiv Regions without electricity. Power engineers are working to restore electricity supply, despite the difficult weather conditions and frost, the Ministry of Energy added.

The ministry emphasized that repair work is underway in the Odesa Region, and network restrictions are in place.

20 settlements in the Kyiv Region remain without power due to the bad weather, and repair crews are working to restore the lines. In the frontline and border regions, consumers remain without electricity for a long time due to the fighting, which complicates the restoration of power supply, the agency noted.

In other regions, there are hourly blackout schedules for all categories of consumers, as well as power restrictions for industry. The Ministry of Energy added that due to the overload of equipment during frosts, emergency shutdowns are used in some regions.
