Curfew relaxation is allowed in the territories of Ukraine that are in the zone of the energy emergency.
It was reported by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
New rules for staying outside during the curfew:
- It is allowed to move on foot or by vehicle solely for the purpose of going to the Points of Invincibility or heating points.
- You must have an identity document with you. During martial law, persons liable for military service must also have a military registration document.
- Special passes are not required when traveling to the Points of Invincibility or heating points
It is also recommended to choose the shortest route and strictly follow the instructions of the authorities, the State Emergency Service and law enforcement officers.
In fact, this approach is also used during air alerts.
"These rules do not cancel the existing restrictions, but only supplement them. All decisions are made exclusively through the Defense Council, with the participation of security forces and military command, taking into account the current situation," the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved amendments that allow regions to introduce flexible curfew rules during the energy emergency.
