In 2025, compared to 2024, the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih mining and metallurgical plant (Dnipropetrovsk Region) increased steel production by 2.3% to 1.689 million tons.
This is announced in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In 2025, pig iron production also increased by 16.9% to 2.535 million tons, rolled steel - by 1.4% to 1.557 million tons, coke - by 16.4% to 1.460 million tons, ore production decreased by 4.2% to 18.392 million tons, concentrate production decreased by 3.3% to 7.562 million tons.

The report states that despite the increase in individual production indicators in 2025, the activities of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih continued to take place in conditions of extremely high risks and restrictions caused by the war.
The enterprise operated in conditions of constant enemy attacks on the energy infrastructure, electricity shortages, high tariffs for electricity and the need to import it, expensive logistics and a difficult situation on external markets.
It is noted that due to all these factors caused by the war, production results still differ from planned ones and are still far from pre-war ones, but the enterprise managed to stabilize its work, ensure an increase in the output of pig iron, steel, rolled products and coke compared to 2024 and maintain production potential.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2024, compared to 2023, the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih mining and metallurgical plant (Dnipropetrovsk Region) increased steel production by 69.9% to 1.651 million tons.
The plant's capacity is designed for an annual output of over 6 million tons of steel, over 5 million tons of rolled steel and over 5.5 million tons of pig iron.
95.1283% of the plant's shares belong to Mittal Steel Germany GmbH, which is part of the international holding Arcelor Mittal.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is the largest producer of rolled steel in Ukraine, specializing in the production of long rolled steel, in particular reinforcement and wire rod.
