As a result of the latest russian shelling in Kyiv and the Kyiv Region, emergency blackouts are currently in effect in the Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava Regions. Previously published schedules are not valid there. It was reported by Ukrenergo.
"Emergency blackouts will be canceled immediately after the situation in the power system stabilizes," the statement said.
At night, the enemy attacked power facilities in several regions again. As a result, consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions are without electricity supply in the morning. Emergency repair works are ongoing wherever security conditions allow.
Consumption
Electricity consumption has increased. In the morning of January 14, its level was 5.4% higher than at the same time on the previous day - on Tuesday. The reason for the changes is a smaller number of consumers who were cut off from power as a result of the shelling.
The consequences of bad weather
As of this morning, 12 settlements in the Kyiv and Chernihiv Regions were without power supply in full or partially due to unfavorable weather conditions. The crews of the regional power distribution companies are carrying out emergency repair works.
