Due to weather conditions, the consequences of the attack and network overload, more than 200 minor accidents were recorded in Kyiv, which led to a long power outage.

The press service of the DTEK energy company has reported this.

As of 5 p.m., January 11, power engineers haв received more than 200 applications for power supply restoration. All available resources were used to eliminate the consequences of the accidents: 57 repair teams were working around the clock.

The mayor's office urged Kyiv residents to be understanding of temporary power outages and support power engineers. After the power comes back on, it is recommended to turn on electrical appliances one by one to avoid repeated overloading of the networks.

The city continues to monitor the situation to restore power to all consumers as soon as possible.

As a reminder, about 85% of high-rise buildings in the capital that were previously left without heating already have heat. All city boiler houses have also resumed operation.

On January 9, the russian occupiers carried out one of the largest attacks on Kyiv's energy infrastructure, and a significant improvement in the situation is expected by January 15.
