In the capital, about 85% of high-rise buildings that were previously left without heating now have heat. All city boiler houses have also resumed operation.

Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba has reported this.

According to him, specialists are currently restarting the systems and "airing" the networks to ensure that heat is evenly supplied to the apartments.

Kuleba emphasized that the attack on Kyiv's energy infrastructure was one of the largest, and took place during a sharp deterioration in weather conditions.

"Power engineers, utilities, and repair crews are working around the clock to bring heat back to Kyiv residents as soon as possible. The work continues - the situation is under constant control," the Minister added.

At the same time, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said that a significant improvement in the situation in the infrastructure is expected by January 15. She wrote about this on her Telegram channel.

As a reminder, in Kyiv, more than 1,000 houses had no heating.
