Journalists of the Ukrainian News Agency have found, probably, the first billionaire who is currently working in the civil service in Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the data of the electronic declaration of a civil servant, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
A journalist of the Ukrainian News Agency found that the deputy director of the department of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Andrii Melnyk owns gold bars and rare earth metal deposits worth billions of euros.

The official indicated in his declaration that he is not only a hryvnia billionaire, but also a euro billionaire.
Journalists found that the civil servant owns 5 tons of gold bars worth UAH 4 billion. And the value of the rare earth metal deposits he owns reaches at least EUR 1.5 billion.
The civil servant keeps all his billion assets in russia and in the occupied territories. At the same time, his salary reaches only UAH 1 million per year and he receives assistance from the state in the form of a winter thousand.
